TIP: If you have wooden balls to paint, stick them on the ends of markers for clean handling while painting and drying.
Mix Texture Sand Paste with Grey Sky in a 1:1 ratio. Using a chip brush, brush the mix randomly onto the pans, candleholders, and wooden parts. (This will add some texture to some areas.) Allow to dry.
Brush Vintage Effect Grey onto some areas of all the parts, leaving other areas of the lighter grey showing. Allow to dry.
Brush Vintage Effect White onto all pieces, leaving some of the grey areas showing and leaving some drips. (Have fun with it; go for the look that appeals to you.) Allow all pieces to dry completely.
Begin to glue parts of the stand together using a heavy-duty glue like an epoxy or E6000. (I glued the four wooden feet on the bottom tier first.)
Continue gluing the parts together, cleaning up any excess glue before it dries.
Stack the glued pieces together and set on a level surface to dry.
This is a great project to use many different recycled items to make an eye-catching décor item.
