Other supplies

  • paintbrush
  • hot glue gun and glue sticks
  • craft knife
  • glass vase
  • palette knife
  • 1" pouncer
  • small plastic skulls (Dollar Tree)


NOTE: Let the project dry fully before continuing to the next step.

  1. Cut the backs off the plastic skulls using a craft knife.

  2. Hot glue the skulls onto the vase.

  3. Fill in the spaces between the skulls with hot glue and let it dry.
    Step 2 Example
  4. With a palette knife, spread Dimensional Effects in the spaces between the skulls. Use a wet brush to smooth the product over the sides of the skulls to connect them.

  5. Paint over the entire piece with Lamp Black.

  6. Use a pouncer to rub Silver Spark over the raised areas of the skulls.
