Painted Kid Face Pots

Paint kids’ faces with Americana Decor® Outdoor Living™ and watch their plant “hair” grow.

SUPPLIES

    • stylus or pencil
    • tracing paper
    • transfer paper
    • terra cotta pots
    • #12 flat brush
    • plastic cup or container
    • #1 round brush
    • plastic plate
    • live plants

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Use a medium to small flat brush to paint the pots inside and out using Sand. Rinse brush.

    3. Pour Succulent, Garden Party, and Morning Glory separately into a wide-mouth cup or container and dip a pot in each color.

    5. Sit each dipped pot on a plastic plate or wax paper to dry completely.

    7. Use a pencil or stylus and the tracing and transfer papers to transfer a face pattern onto the center of each pot. Use a small round brush and Iron Gate to paint on the faces. Rinse brush. Use the same brush to paint on the glasses using Morning Glory. Let dry and cure. Once fully cured, fill with plants that would make cool hair!
