Wooden Spring Sign

Wooden Spring Sign

Posted by DecoArt on Mar 4th 2019

Spring is in the air! This season of new beginnings begs for some fresh home decor. Celebrate Spring with a simple spring sign using the new Americana Acrylic paint colors.

Check out those beautiful shades of blue just in time for Spring showers. Each blue is ever so slightly different from the next and all hold their own. The opaque, consistent color on each letter is perfection and the matte finish enhances the true color.

Like all Americana Acrylics, this paint blends easily and cleans up with soap and water. I use Americana acrylics on all my scroll signs. The wide range of colors and amazing coverage make this paint my first choice.

Step 1: Gather your wood or MDF pieces and paint a base coat of white. This acts as your primer and provides a neutral base which allows the true color of the paint to shine. Let dry and give a light sanding.
