Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Cut out shamrock stencils on cardstock using the Studio file on a Silhouette electronic cutter. Cut out the "lucky" lettering on vinyl.
- Trace the shamrock onto the scrap wood pieces using a pencil. Remove stencil.
- Cut out the shapes using a scroll saw.
- Sand the wooden shamrocks.
- Sand all pieces. Concentrate on sanding the angled edges onto the shapes.
- Paint the two larger shamrocks Celery Green with a 1" flat brush. Paint the smallest shamrock in Glorious Gold. (Use a toothpick with paint on it to get into tight corners.) Let dry.
- Place the "lucky" stencil on the largest shamrock at an angle. Paint using a stencil brush in Glorious Gold.
- Carefully remove the vinyl while the paint is still wet and let dry.
- Sand the edges of the shamrocks to distress. Wipe away any dust using a damp paper towel.
- Paint over the smallest shamrock using Gold Craft Twinkles, using a fan brush to help move the glitter around so the glitter is spread evenly.
- Using a small brush, dab Gold Craft Twinkles over the word "Lucky". Let dry.
- Embellish with twine.
