Americana® Multi-Surface Acrylics

  • Cotton Ball (DA500)
  • Lavender Fields (DA530)
  • Lemon Zest (DA513)
  • Pink Cadillac (DA503)
  • Sky Blue (DA522)

Other supplies

  • water container
  • palette or plastic plate
  • paper towels
  • sandpaper (optional)
  • 1" flat brush
  • 3/4" flat brush
  • 1/4" flat brush
  • matching ribbon
  • wooden shape (rabbit)
  • basswood round (varying sizes)
  • E6000 Glue (E6000)


NOTE: Let dry completely between painting steps.

  1. If needed, sand the wooden surfaces and wipe away any sanding dust with a damp paper towel.

  2. Arrange the basswood rounds on the rabbit to plan and make sure you have enough rounds. Divide the rounds into five groups.

  3. Paint the rabbit with a 1" flat brush in Cotton Ball. Let the first layer dry and then add a second application.

  4. Paint each of the wooden round groups in either Cotton Ball, Lavender Fields, Lemon Zest, Pink Cadillac, or Sky Blue. (Use a 1/4" flat brush.) If needed, apply an additional coat, allowing the first to dry.

  5. Arrange the painted rounds on the rabbit form. Once you are happy with the design, use E6000 Glue to attach each piece. Let dry completely.

  6. Tie a ribbon around the neck of the rabbit. Use the string that is on the wooden rabbit shape to hang and display the piece.
