    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Paint the witch hat with two coats of Pumpkin Patch.
    2. Instruction #1
    3. Paint the witch hat with a coat of Tiger Orange. (Use a fan brush for best application.)
    4. Instruction #2
    5. Paint a sheet of white circle labels or stickers with two coats of Purple Rain.
    6. Instruction #3
    7. Peel off the background around the circles. Paint one coat of Magenta (Interference) over the circles.
    8. Instruction #4
    9. Stick the Purple Rain/Magenta (Interference) circles onto the cone portion of the hat like polka dots. Smooth each dot using a brayer to ensure it sticks. Apply a coat of Americana Matte Decou-Page onto the top of the hat.
    10. Instruction #5
    11. Measure out a length of black tulle ribbon for the bottom of the cone portion of the hat. Leave extra to tie a bow.
    12. Attach the black tulle ribbon to the witch hat using floral greening pins. Use a large safety pin to poke holes into the witch hat where the floral pins will go.
    13. Instruction #7
    14. Twist some of the black tulle ribbon around the top of a floral pin and stick the pin into the hat, starting at the back, and keeping an even length on either side of the floral pin.
    15. Instruction #8
    16. Using pliers, bend the ends of the floral pin up so it lays flat against the inside cone portion of the witch hat.
    17. Attach the rest of the black tulle ribbon with floral pins around the hat, bringing the two lengths of ribbon together in the front and secure with a floral pin. Tie the ribbon lengths in a knot, tie into a bow, and fluff out.
    18. Instruction #10
    19. Stick the Purple Rain/Magenta (Interference) circles onto the brim of the witch hat like polka dots. Smooth each dot down using a brayer to ensure it sticks onto the glittered surface. Use E6000 Glue to add black gems around the brim of the hat, making a small design in the front.
    20. Instruction #11
    21. Use E6000 Glue to attach the tarantula, or other, embellishment near the front of the hat.
    22. Instruction #12
    23. Add Purple Rain to the witch boots of the headband. Let dry. Once dry, turn the headband upside down and insert into the hat. Use E6000 Glue to hold into place.
