Wild Cat Reverse Painted Plates

The kids will love their very own wild cat plates, created with DecoArt® Glass Paint™.

SUPPLIES

    • rubbing alcohol
    • small and medium brushes
    • clear glass plates

    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

    For best results, clean the plate with rubbing alcohol and let dry completely before painting.

    The painted plate an be baked for permanence, by following the directions on the bottle).

    1. Print off your choice (or all three) of the provided cat patterns and place on the top part of the plate. (See photo) Use a Black Glass Paint Marker to trace onto the back side of the plate. Let dry. (Note: This photo is showing the back side of the plate.)
    2. Instruction #1
    3. Use a medium soft brush to paint the majority of the cat in Yellow; add Fuchsia and Pink accents. (Note: This photo is showing the front part of the plate.)

    5. Continue adding accents in Fuchsia and Mint. Let dry. (Note: This photo is showing the front side of the plate.)

    7. Use a medium soft brush to paint the background of the plate with all the listed colors, using Light Blue as the main color. (For the tiger and lion designs, repeat this process using the above photo as a reference.)
