    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Lightly sand the plaque, front and back, with 120-grit sandpaper and use a tack rag to wipe off both sides.
    2. Using a 1" sponge brush and Deep Buttermilk, cover the entire plaque on both sides, letting the plaque dry before turning it over. Lightly sand, tack off, and give the plaque another coat of Deep Buttermilk. Let dry.
    3. Copy the flower pattern off onto tracing paper. Using a stylus and transfer paper, transfer the pattern onto the plaque.
    4. Using #4 flat brush and Wrought Iron Black, paint in the letters to the word "Welcome" in free-hand.
    5. Using a liner brush and Mistletoe Green, paint the stem of the flower.
    6. Using a #4 flat brush and Mistletoe Green, paint in the leaves.
    7. Using a #4 flat brush, paint the petals of the flower and the flower center Tuscan Red.
    8. Using a liner brush and Pumpkin, outline the petals.
    9. Using a liner brush and Rich Espresso, paint the crosshatch lines across the center of the flower and paint around the flower center. In between those lines, use the handle end of a liner brush to make little Deep Buttermilk dots.
    10. Using a liner brush, paint vein lines on leaves and line around leaf with Citrus Green.
    11. Finish with a coat or two of Clear Coat.
