SUPPLIES

Americana Decor® Crème Waxes

  • Deep Brown (ADM07)

Americana® Acrylics

  • Blue Haven (DA318)
  • Charcoal Grey (DAO88)
  • Spiced Pumpkin (DA310)

Other supplies

  • water container
  • palette or plastic plate
  • paper towels
  • #2 round brush
  • #10 flat brush

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. SNOWMAN - Using #10 flat brush base coat 3 wood knobs (one of each size) in Blue Haven. Using the back/bottom of paint brush add dots all over in Snow White

  2. Using #8 round brush paint face in Snow White. Using liner brush paint eye and smile in Zinc and nose in Spiced Pumpkin.

  3. Cut twine approx 6 inches long and make knot for hands. Place over middle sized wood knob and using E 6000 glue the head on top and the largest knob on bottom
  4. Cut small piece of twine, approx 3 inches and glue on top of the head (ring shape). This will help with adhesion of the hat/knob.
  5. Cut out little strip of burlap about 3/8 inch 7 inches. Loop through 2 washers (to make goggles) and glue in place on the hat/knob. Loop twine through the middle hole, make a knot and adhere with glue. Glue a tiny washer or nut to the middle. Glue on top of head (on the twine)

  6. Using black permanent marker, draw dotted line around a washer and glue over the painted eye.Glue eyes and buttons in place.
  7. Tie light blue ribbon around neck for scarf.
  8. PENGUIN - Using #10 flat brush base coat remaining 2 wood knobs (one of each size) in Grey Sky. Using the back/bottom of the paintbrush add dots all over in Snow White.

  9. Using #8 round brush paint face i Snow White. • Using liner brush paint eyes in Zinc, accent dots in Blue Haven and beak in Spiced Pumpkin.

  10. Glue head to the body. Using #8 round brush paint the wings and bow tie on body in Zinc. Glue 2 washers to the bottom for feet.
  11. Using #8 round brush, paint the flower pot/hat base in Snow White and the top rim in Blue Haven.
  12. Loop twine through bottom hole of flower pot/hat, tie knot and glue in place.
  13. Using black marker draw dotted line around washer and glue over one eye.
  14. Using black permanent marker add detailed accents.
  15. Using #10 flat brush lightly brush dark wax randomly and wipe back with clean cloth.
