Create a vintage bohemian look with wooden candle pedestals and Vintage Effect Wash™.

SUPPLIES

• palette or plastic plate
• sandpaper
• medium brush
• wooden candleholder
• dry rag

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Using fine grit sandpaper, lightly sand the wooden candle pedestal.

2. Paint the whole candle pedestal using Lavender or Light Purple. Allow to dry.

3. Using a dry brush and/or rag, lightly brush Pink onto the candle pedestal covering only about 2/3 of the candle pedestal's surface. (It should look streaky.) Let stand for a minute, then wipe the surface with a dry rag for a vintage effect. If desired, add more Pink. Let dry.

4. Once the Pink has dried, add White covering about 1/3rd of the surface. Wipe with a dry rag to color preference.

5. On the second pedestal, repeat the steps above, using the following colors: Pink as the base; Turquoise as the first second layer; and Light Green as the final layer.
