Vintage Birdhouse Accent

Usher in a hint of spring any time of the year with this vintage home accent birdhouse.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- sandpaper
- 1/2" flat brush
- hot glue gun and glue sticks
- silk flowers
- hexagon wooden birdhouse
- fake moss
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Allow to dry between painting steps.
- Paint the walls of the birdhouse Sea Glass with the 1/2" flat brush. Paint the roof and base Dark Chocolate with the same brush.
- Use sandpaper to distress the birdhouse by rubbing vertically and along the edges until the paint comes off in random areas.
- Rip off a small amount of the fake moss; remove three silk flowers from their stems and pull some leaves off of the flowers.
- Use a hot glue gun to glue on the moss, then the flowers, and then the leaves.
