Valentine Love Card Box

Turn a plain wooden box into a keepsake box for Valentines.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- tracing paper
- transfer paper
- pencil
- 3/4" flat brush
- #10 flat brush
- #1 liner brush
- medium wooden box
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Basecoat the middle sections on the box Indian Turquoise using a 3/4" flat brush. Rinse brush.
- Use the same brush with Tuscan Red to paint the lid, back, and edges. (You might need the #10 flat brush to do the edges.)
- Print off the patterns. Trace and transfer the heart pattern on the lid using a pencil and the tracing and transfer papers; trace and transfer the “Love” design on the front of the box using a pencil and the papers.
- Use the #10 flat brush to fill in the heart design with Indian Turquoise. Use the #1 liner brush to paint the arrow Grey Sky.
- Use the #1 liner brush to paint on the “Love” design and add detail on the heart design with Tuscan Red.
