Add a touch of Old Glory to your yard or garden with Patio Paint Outdoor™.

SUPPLIES

• tape measure
• painter's tape
• wood glue
• cosmetic sponge
• 1" x 2" 18-grade garden stakes
• 1-1/4" wire (brad) nails #16
• hammer
• small chip brush
• craft knife or scissors

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Use seven stakes for stripes, and two for braces/stakes. Use small chip brush to paint stakes, alternating between Geranium Red and Cloud White. Let dry.
2. Nail top and bottom board in place first, so boards won't shift. Use one nail for each board. To help secure boards on back, use wood glue in addition to nails. (Note: If you want flag to point to right, be sure it points to left.)
3. Print off star template and cut out stars carefully with craft knife or scissors.
4. Tape off square about 5.5” at top left and paint Summer Sky Blue. Let dry.
5. Use piece of painter’s tape to hold star template in place and a cosmetic sponge to stencil stars Cloud White.
