Wine bottles upcycled into vases

Add sparkle to your table with upcycled wine bottles using Extreme Sheen!

SUPPLIES

  • scissors
  • blue painters tape
  • large flat brush
  • Three Wine Bottles
  • Stick on rhinestones

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Soak your bottles in a little dishwashing liquid, a little vinegar and warm water. Then easily peel off the labels.

  1. Upcycle old bottles for a beautiful table display. Peel off labels. After labels are peeled off, make sure bottles are dry. Then use tape to mark the bottle's half-way mark.

  3. Use Champagne Extreme Sheen to paint two bottles on the bottom half and one bottle on the top half. Allow those to dry completely, then use Rosebud Americana Multi-surface Satin to paint the opposite halves. Use long smooth strokes for a smooth finish.

  5. Once your bottles have completely dried, cut rhinestone sheets in strips five rows wide.

  7. Use two strips to wrap around the center of the bottles, cut to size.
