Upcycle a metal cake stand into spring décor with Americana Decor® Chalky Finish™ .

SUPPLIES

• pencil
• paintbrush
• cake stand

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Paint the cake stand a solid color of Remembrance. Let dry completely. Add a second coat. Let dry completely.

2. Sketch the design in the center. Paint with New Life in the larger shape and Revive in the center. Let dry completely and add a second coat to both. Let dry completely.

3. Add accent dots around the edge with Smitten.

4. Add a layer of Clear Ice Comet as an accent on the New Life section. (This allows for contrast between the matte surface of the chalky paint and the shimmer of the glitter.)

5. Use the cake stand as table décor.

6. Or as a spring display.

7. Or as an Easter display.
