DIY Decor Glitter Frames

Add color and sparkle to wooden frames with DecoArt® Holographic Illusions™.
SUPPLIES
- fan brush
- hemp cord
- palette knife
- mini clothespins
- medium flat brush
- watercolor paper
- laser cut wooden frames
INSTRUCTIONS
- Gather the materials.
- Mix Berry Red and Texture Sand Paste 1:1 with a palette knife.
- With a medium flat brush, paint one of the frames with the Berry Red/Sand Paste mix. Let dry.
- Mix Lavender and Texture Sand Paste 1:1 with a palette knife.
- With a medium flat brush, paint one of the frames with the Lavender/Sand Paste mix. Let dry.
- Mix Cactus Flower and Texture Sand Paste 1:1 with a palette knife.
- With a medium flat brush, paint one of the frames with the Cactus Flower/Sand Paste mix. Let dry.
- For the Cactus Flower frame, paint on Fairy Pink with a fan brush. Let dry.
- For the Lavender frame, paint on Divine Purple with a fan brush. Let dry.
- For the Berry Red frame, paint on Bewitching Red with a fan brush. Allow to dry.
- Optional: Disassemble mini clothespins and paint to match each frame using the corresponding Americana Acrylic paint. Allow to dry.
- Measure out a length of hemp cord to cross each frame horizontally. (Allow at least two rows of cord for each frame.)
- Flip over the frames and tape the hemp cord in place with masking tape.
- Hot glue the hemp cord in place and allow to cool completely. Trim off the loose ends of the cord.
- Reassemble mini clothespins and decide what to hang in the frames.
- Optional: Use the provided patterns to create fun pictures to hang in the frames. Paint with listed Americana Acrylics and corresponding Holographic Illusions colors.
- Pair the painted pictures with mementos, photos, or business cards.
- Group together for maximum effect.
