Peeking Accent Frog

Add a frog to Halloween décor with Americana® Acrylics.
SUPPLIES
- sandpaper
- liner brush
- hot glue gun
- fine point Sharpie® marker or pen
- plastic lid
- small flat brush
INSTRUCTIONS
- Wash out the coffee creamer lid.
- Lightly sand the lid surface.
- Pace two "eyes" onto the cap with hot glue. (Tip: Do one eye at a time to allow for the glue to cool without running.)
- Paint the lid surface with Forest Green. Allow to dry.
- Paint on layer of Avocado. Leave wet for next step.
- Using Matcha Green, paint on a layer blending into the Avocado layer. Let dry. When dry, paint highlight the area on top with Matcha Green. Allow to dry.
- Draw an oval pupil onto each eye with a fine point marker.
- Paint Canyon Orange onto the iris of each eye.
- Dab on a highlight layer of Primary Yellow onto the iris of each eye. Allow to dry.
- Paint the pupil of each eye with Lamp Black.
- Dot on light highlights to the pupils with Light Buttermilk.
- Dot on Lamp Black nostrils. Allow to dry.
- Paint the eyes with Gloss Varnish. Paint the head with Soft-Touch Varnish.
- Add the frog head to other magical craft projects to create a decorative and fun visual story.
