  • sandpaper
  • liner brush
  • hot glue gun (with clear glue sticks)
  • fine point Sharpie® marker or pen
  • plastic lid (from coffee creamer)
  • small flat brush


  1. Wash out the coffee creamer lid.

  2. Lightly sand the lid surface.

  3. Pace two "eyes" onto the cap with hot glue. (Tip: Do one eye at a time to allow for the glue to cool without running.)

  4. Paint the lid surface with Forest Green. Allow to dry.

  5. Paint on layer of Avocado. Leave wet for next step.

  6. Using Matcha Green, paint on a layer blending into the Avocado layer. Let dry. When dry, paint highlight the area on top with Matcha Green. Allow to dry.

  7. Draw an oval pupil onto each eye with a fine point marker.

  8. Paint Canyon Orange onto the iris of each eye.
    Step 7 Example
  9. Dab on a highlight layer of Primary Yellow onto the iris of each eye. Allow to dry.

  10. Paint the pupil of each eye with Lamp Black.

  11. Dot on light highlights to the pupils with Light Buttermilk.

  12. Dot on Lamp Black nostrils. Allow to dry.

  13. Paint the eyes with Gloss Varnish. Paint the head with Soft-Touch Varnish.
