Galaxy Glitter™ and DecoArt® Extreme Sheen™ are perfect for this mystical unicorn décor.

SUPPLIES

• water container
• palette or plastic plate
• paper towels
• stylus or pencil
• scissors
• hot glue gun
• X-Acto® knife
• foam core board
• paintbrushes
• thin ribbon or string

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Cut the unicorn shape out using the pattern provided and trace it onto a piece of foam core board.

2. Cut the unicorn shape out of the foam core using an X-Acto knife; clean up the edges using the knife as well.

3. Paint the plaque in Aquamarine, the unicorn profile in Pearl, and the horn in 24K Gold with thin cascading stripes of Aquamarine along the ridge of the horn, mimicking a spiral.

4. Cover the unicorn profile (painted in Pearl) with Clear Ice Comet; the Aquamarine stripes with Aqua Meteor; and the 24K Gold horn with Big Bang using a fan brush.

5. Cut various colors of string/fringe into strips long enough to hang over the side of the unicorn cut-out and down toward the bottom edge of the plaque once the unicorn has been adhered.

6. On the back of the unicorn shape, behind the mane, add several drops of hot glue and press the colored fringe into the glue, alternating colors as you go. Once finished, add hot glue to the entire back surface and press against the Aquamarine plaque and hold firm (or weigh down) until dry.

7. Trim the string into various lengths and cut to line up with the bottom of the plaque.
