  • Pewter (DPM12)
  • Pink Tourmaline (DPM15)
  • Sapphire (DPM17)

Other supplies

  • water container
  • palette or plastic plate
  • paper towels
  • scissors
  • hot glue gun (with clear glue sticks)
  • Styrofoam (or floral foam)
  • silk flowers (pink and blue)
  • leather cord (black)
  • felt (white and pink)
  • screwdriver
  • paintbrushes
  • planter (Joanns)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Paint the planter in Pearl. Allow to dry and apply additional coats as needed.
  2. Using the pattern provided, paint the eyes and cheeks of the unicorn onto the planter. Paint the lashes using Pewter. Paint the eyelids in Sapphire close to the lashes, blending out to Aquamarine. Paint round cheeks in Pink Tourmaline.
  3. To create the horn of the unicorn, roll white felt into a cone. Wrap the black leather cord around the horn into a spiral. Use hot glue to secure the cord and seal the felt cone. Cut off excess felt and cord with scissors.
  4. Use the provided pattern to create ears: Cut out the large part of the ear in white felt and the smaller portion in pink. Attach ears and horn with hot glue. (See photo for ear placement.)
  5. Place Styrofoam or floral foam inside the planter and arrange flowers as the unicorn's mane. Use hot glue to secure fly-aways.
