A plain terra cotta wine cooler gets an Italian accent with an olive motif of Americana® Multi-Surface Acrylics.

SUPPLIES

    • water container
    • palette or plastic plate
    • paper towels
    • tracing paper
    • transfer paper
    • cloth
    • #10 flat brush
    • #12 flat brush
    • #10/0 liner brush
    • terra cotta wine cooler

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Clean the terra cotta wine cooler with a damp cloth and let dry completely.
    2. Trace and transfer the pattern onto the cooler's surface, placing the olives and leaves where you would like them. Add more elements for larger pieces, and connect with thin lines.
    3. Use a #10 flat brush to paint olives with any combination of Black Tie, Chartreuse, and Paprika.
    4. Use a #12 flat brush to paint leaves with Green Beret. While wet, highlight with Chartreuse.
    5. Use a #10/0 liner brush and Cocoa Bean to paint stems.
    6. Use a #10/0 liner brush to highlight Black Tie olives with Lavender Fields.
    7. Use a #10/0 liner brush to highlight Paprika olives with Lipstick.
