    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

Allow paint to dry fully between coats.

    1. Test the beads on the cording to be sure that they slide on easily before you paint them. Try the necklace on and check the desired length in the mirror before proceeding.
    2. Instruction #1
    3. Paint the wooden beads with two coats of Turquoise Blue, allowing them to dry completely between coats. Using an old toothbrush dipped in Lamp Black and a plastic knife, spatter the beads with black. (You may have to repeat the process a couple of times, rotating the beads to lightly cover each side). Let dry. Repeat the spattering process with Shimmering Silver, again rotating the beads as you work. Let dry. Seal with Matte Spray Finish.
    4. Instruction #2
    5. Measure a 32" length of leather cord. Begin by threading the cord through a silver bead, then a turquoise bead, and then another a silver one. Repeat until you have used half of the beads. Add the silver pendant, using a silver bead before and after it. Repeat by adding the silver and wooden beads until completed, ending with a silver bead. Check the length of the necklace again; add or remove beads as necessary for your desired length. Tie the ends of the cord together.
