    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Here's what you will need.
    2. Instruction #1
    3. Place the gift bag on top of the scrapbook paper and trace around the bag shape using a pencil. Trace the bag's sides with one paper and the front and back with a different scrapbook paper.
    4. Use scissors to cut out the scrapbook papers.
    5. Use a 3/4" flat brush and attach the papers to the box using Paper Decou-Page, following the label instructions to adhere and seal. Rinse brush. (Paper may overlap; just leave it until it dries completely. Trim in step 14.)
    6. Instruction #4
    7. Use a pencil or stylus to lightly trace and transfer the words onto the bag's front.
    8. Instruction #5
    9. Use a #1 liner brush and Lamp Black to paint on words. Rinse brush.
    10. Instruction #6
    11. Trace and transfer the circle and crow patterns onto the bag front with a pencil or stylus and the tracing and transfer papers.
    12. Use #1 liner brush to loosely mix (1) part Snow White with (1) part Lamp Black. Fill in the crow. Rinse brush. Save the mix for a future step.
    13. Instruction #8
    14. Use a #1 liner brush and Cadmium Yellow to fill in the crow's eye. Rinse brush.
    15. Use the same brush and the grey mix from step 8, just adding a little more Snow White to outline the details. Rinse brush.
    16. Instruction #10
    17. Use a #1 liner brush and Lavender to paint the ring. Rinse brush.
    18. Instruction #11
    19. Use a #1 liner brush and Black Ice to fill in the words. Wet the brush and lightly shade around words. Rinse brush. Use the same brush and Purple Princess to add glitter to the ring. Rinse brush.
    20. Instruction #12
    21. Use a #1 liner brush and load separately with Slate Grey and Lamp Black. (I decided to add some last minute rings.) Rinse the brush between the colors and at the end.
    22. Instruction #13
    23. Use a box cutter or X-Acto knife to trim the paper edges. (You could even use sandpaper to smooth it out.) Use a 3/4" flat brush and Lamp Black to paint the entire inside of the bag. Rinse brush.
    24. Instruction #14
