Other supplies

• water container
• palette or plastic plate
• paper towels
• 1" flat brush
• 1/4" flat brush
• 1" painter's tape
• cosmetic sponge
• 8" x 10" wooden frame

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTE: Let dry completely between painting steps.

1. Paint the large front section of the frame with the 1" flat brush and Muted Gold.
2. Paint the edge of the frame with the 1/4" flat brush and Dark Scarlet.
3. Hold the triangle stencil over the Muted Gold section of the frame several different ways to decide how to use it. When placement is chosen, stencil with White Birch and the cosmetic sponge.
4. Use painter's tape to make a border around the center of the frame. Paint the inner edge and inside the tape with the 1/4" flat brush and Deep Turquoise.

HELPFUL HINTS

Be creative with the stencil placement. Mine wasn't long enough so I pieced it together to cover the frame.

Use very little paint on the cosmetic sponge to get a nice, neat effect. Touch up with Muted Gold if necessary.
