Shade Tree Wood Canvas

This tree silhouette, made with DecoArt's new Maxx Gloss, adds shine and contrast to a simple wall accent.

SUPPLIES

    • water container
    • palette or plastic plate
    • paper towels
    • painter's tape
    • 3/4" flat brush
    • cosmetic sponge
    • 12" x 12" basswood canvas

    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

    Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Make sure the basswood canvas surface is clean and dust free.
      2. Instruction #1
    2. Basecoat the canvas with Zinc.
      3. Instruction #2
    3. Place the Branching Out Stencil onto the canvas (tape it down if necessary using painter's tape) and, using a cosmetic sponge, start lightly dabbing Maxx Gloss Aqua Waters onto the stencil and canvas.
    4. Remove the stencil and tape immediately; wash stencil.
