Modern Tree Silhouette Pillow

Create drama on a simple accent pillow with Americana® Mixed Media Stencils and SoSoft Fabric Paint..
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- plain white text paper
- travel pillowcase
- small and large brushes
- tape or spray adhesive
- buttons or adornments (optional)
- cosmetic sponge
INSTRUCTIONS
- Iron the pillowcase and lay it out on a flat surface, with plain paper or plastic inside to prevent paint from seeping through.
- Affix the tree stencil in place with tape or spray adhesive.
- Gently blot White on each stencil section using a cosmetic sponge until first coat is on fully. Set aside to dry overnight.
- Apply a second coat of White with a cosmetic sponge and allow to dry overnight again.
- Remove the stencil, touch up any spots, and apply decorations, if desired. (I used three buttons down the side.)
