INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Using a 3/4" flat brush, paint the tool box with two coats of Mushroom.
- Use 1" painter's tape to mask off stripes at either side of the tool box. (Refer to photo for placement.) Use a cosmetic sponge to dab on two coats of Cotton Ball. Outline the stripes by masking with painter's tape and, using a cosmetic sponge, dabbing on two coats of Turquoise Waters.
- Cut burlap into a rectangle. (The size will be determined by the size of the tool box; refer to photo.)
- Using a 3/4" flat brush, paint the burlap loosely with Cotton Ball. (Do not paint it solidly or paint all the way to the edges.)
- Place found objects, like nuts, bolts, or screws, on the burlap and spell out "Tools". Once you are happy with the placement, adhere the objects into place with E6000.
- When the "lettering" is dry, place the tools sign on the front of the tool box and adhere with E6000. (Refer to photo for placement.)
