  1. Use a 3/4" flat brush to apply Americana Matte Decou-Page onto the clipboard. Position and press scrapbook paper on the clipboard surface, smoothing out any bubbles with fingers.
  2. Use a 3/4" flat brush to apply an additional coat of Decou-Page over the scrapbook paper.
  3. Use a craft knife to trim away excess scrapbook paper from the clipboard edges.
  4. Use a 3/4" flat brush to apply Decou-Page in the lettering area. Position and adhere lettering to clipboard surface.
  5. Use a cosmetic sponge to dab Calypso Blue inside the peace sign stencil. Remove and clean the stencil.
  6. Use a 3/4" flat brush to apply more Decou-Page over the clipboard.
  7. Thread beads onto the ribbons and secure them to the clipboard by knotting ribbon ends.
  8. Tie beaded ribbons onto the clip at the top of clipboard.

A brayer can also be used to remove bubbles, if necessary.

Heavy or thick papers can be soaked a few minutes in water to relax fibers before decoupaging. This will result in a smoother finish.
