painting (old painting found at a thrift store or in your attic)
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: Transferring the patterns: Print out patterns at a size that suits the painting. Place the images where they make sense and transfer with transfer paper and a pen or pencil.
Wipe the painting clean with a damp cloth. Let dry and transfer the provided patterns where appropriate. (See note.)
Mix (6) parts Moody Blue with (1) part Lamp Black and add water to make it semi-transparent. Use a medium flat brush to paint the sky with this mix, allowing parts of the original sky to show through. Use a small round brush to paint little stars and a moon in Snow White.
Use a small round brush to paint the pumpkins in Canyon Orange and then, while the paint is still wet, add a few highlights in Snow White. Mix (4) parts Canyon Orange with (1) part Lamp Black. Use this mix to paint the pumpkin stems with a small round brush.
Use a small round brush to outline the ghosts in Snow White. Mix Snow White with water 1:1. Use a small round brush to fill in the ghosts with this mix, giving the ghosts a slightly transparent effect.
Use a small flat brush to apply Crystal Ball to the ghosts. (This will give them a nice shimmery effect.)
Mask off the frame with painter's tape. Use a medium brush to paint the frame in 24K Gold. Let dry and repeat.
