INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Sand the crate to remove any rough edges. Wipe any dust away with a damp paper towel.
- Paint the side slats of the crate with Cotton Ball using a 1/2" flat brush. Paint the rest of the crate with a thin coat of Bittersweet, allowing the wood grain to show through. If too much paint is applied, use a paper towel to wipe back the paint.
- Measure and cut the triangle paper from Americana Gold Stag Decou-Page Paper. Apply a coat of Americana Matte Decou-Page to the crate, position the paper, and apply Decou-Page on top. Remove any wrinkles with a finger.
- Cut out two of the large stag heads from the Decou-Page Paper. Decoupage each head onto the ends of the crate.
- Transfer the pattern to the crate using transfer paper and a pencil. Using a #3 round brush, paint in foliage with Gold (Metallic).
- Paint the four half-circle wooden shapes in Gold (Metallic). Let dry. Once dry, use E6000 Glue to adhere onto the bottom corners of the crate. (Refer to photo.)
