    • #10 flat brush
    • hot glue gun and glue sticks
    • masking tape
    • empty paper towel roll
    • 8" terra cotta pot and saucer
    • wooden rolling pin
    • floral wire
    • paper mache kit
    • waxed paper
    • 6" terra cotta pot and saucer
    • 10" terra cotta pot and saucer

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Mix papier mache according to package directions, roll out on waxed paper and allow to dry, just until pliable and easy to bend and mold (about 3 hours). Use scissors to cut out various uneven leaves; pinch them in the center to form wrinkles. Let dry completely, then paint Fern Green.
    2. Cut paper towel core to desired lengths and apply papier mache, leaving rough texture. When completely dry, paint Pinecone Brown.
    3. Use a sponge brush to basecoat inside and outside of 10" pot and saucer Tiger Lily Orange. Use #10 flat brush to add shaded sections with Holly Berry Red.
    4. Mix one part Fiesta Yellow and one part Tiger Lily Orange, and then basecoat the 8" pot and saucer. Use #10 brush to add shading with Tiger Lily Orange.
    5. Mix one part Tiger Lily Orange and one part Holly Berry Red, then basecoat the 6" pot and saucer. Use the #10 flat brush to add shading with Geranium Red.
    6. Curl covered wire around a pencil, then slide off. Gently pull to expand curls.
    7. Use the hot glue to attach the stems, leaves and curled wire on lids.
