Terra Cotta Bull

This terra cotta critter is easy to make with Americana® Acrylics and that's no bull.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- tracing paper
- transfer paper
- scissors
- black permanent marker
- Fun Foam sheet
- 2" terra cotta pot
- two small wiggle eyes
- 2" Styrofoam ball
- small piece of black cording or yarn, frayed on one end for tail
- small piece of gold jewelry wire
- Zip Dry™ Glue or low-temp glue gun and glue sticks
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Paint the pot and Styrofoam ball Lamp Black.
- Trace and cut out the horns, muzzle and hooves from white Fun Foam, and the ears from black Fun Foam.
- Press the Styrofoam ball down onto the pot bottom to flatten. Position and glue it onto the pot. Press the top of the head with finger to form a small indentation.
- Position and adhere the ears, eyes, horns, muzzle, and hooves with a glue gun or glue. (Refer to photo for placement.)
- Use a permanent marker to draw nostrils on the muzzle.
- Bend a small piece of gold jewelry wire to make a U-shaped nose ring. Press the ends into the foam.
- Position and adhere the cording for a tail with hot or quick-dry glue.
