INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Use a pencil or stylus to transfer the finger detail pattern on the foam finger. Hint: If you press hard enough, it will carve it a little bit so you can still see after you paint over it.
- Use a #10 flat brush and Black Tie to fill in all of the hand except for a small border of the foam. Rinse brush.
- Use a #1 liner brush and Silver (Metallic) to paint on all the finger details from the pattern already transferred.
- Use the Silhouette machine and Con-Tact paper to cut your choice of words in your favorite fonts to fit the foam finger. (I used Con-Tact paper so it would stick to the finger for better stenciling results.) Remove the adhesive backing of the Con-Tact paper stencil and place firmly on the finger.
- Use a cosmetic sponge to pounce on Cotton Ball as a basecoat.
- Use a new cosmetic sponge to pounce on Lipstick, leaving the hatch-tag Cotton Ball for interest. Remove the Con-Tact paper stencil.
- Use a liner brush with Cotton Ball to outline the words. Rinse brush.
- Use the handle end of the same liner brush dipped in Silver (Metallic) to add polka dots in every other letter. Re-dip handle for each dot to keep a consistent size. Wipe off the handle end.
