    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Start with a plain canvas tote bag in a color of your choice. Tear a piece of wax paper to go inside the tote so the paint won't seep through to the back side.
    2. Instruction #1
    3. Use a pencil and the tracing and transfer papers to trace and transfer the half-football pattern centered on the bottom of the bag. Use a #12 flat brush and Cocoa Bean to fill in the half-football shape. Rinse brush.
    4. Instruction #2
    5. Cut a 12" x 12" piece of Con-Tact paper; stick it to the Silhouette mat; and turn on the machine. Upload words of your choice in your favorite fonts and upload to the program. Follow the instructions for the Silhouette machine to cut out the words.
    6. Instruction #3
    7. Remove the Con-Tact paper from the mat and pop out the letters. Remember to keep the insides of all letters like a,e,i,o,b,d, etc. Remove the adhesive backing when ready to place the letter on the bag surface.
    8. Instruction #4
    9. Line up all the words and press down on the fabric firmly.
    10. Instruction #5
    11. Use a cosmetic sponge to pounce on a coat of Cotton Ball for a basecoat.
    12. Instruction #6
    13. Use a new cosmetic sponge and Lipstick to pounce on the entire first line and every third letter after that.
    14. Instruction #7
    15. Use a #1 round brush and Cotton Ball to paint detail on the football. Rinse brush.
    16. Instruction #8
    17. Use a new cosmetic sponge to pounce on Silver (Metallic) for the remaining letters.
    18. Instruction #9
    19. Use a 1" foam pouncer to add Silver (Metallic) polka dots randomly. Rinse brush.
