Using a 2" flat brush, paint the back, inside, and one of the outside panels of the shadow box with Relic.
Paint the remaining three sides in Inch Worm, Pink Tropics, and Waterfront.
Measure the inside of the box and cut a thin piece of cardboard slightly smaller. Measure and cut fabric to cover, leaving 1" or 2" to fold over to the back of the cardboard. Cut a square notch in all corners.
Using a 1” flat brush, apply Americana Matte Decou-Page to the front edges of the cardboard. Carefully lay the cardboard on the fabric, turn over, and smooth into place. Flip the piece back over and apply Decou-Page to the edges of the cardboard. Fold the fabric over the cardboard and smooth into place. Seal the back fabric edges with more Decou-Page. Using E6000 Glue, attach the cardboard to the inside of the box.
Measure and cut Washi tape to cover all four sides of the front edge. Attach to the edge and then fold over onto the sides. Seal with Decou-Page.
Attach one small cup hook to each side of the box: one for the honey stir stick and one for the tea strainer.
Attach large hooks to the back of the box for the tea cups. Attach a hook to the back for hanging the piece.
Using a 1/4" flat brush, paint the bottom of the honey stick in Inch Worm.
Using a 1” brush paint the chipboard bubble sign with Black Tie. Let dry. Once dry, transfer the template to the surface. Paint simple small flowers using a detail brush and Pink Tropics, Waterfront, Inch Worm, and Cotton Ball. Paint the wording "Tea for Two" with Cotton Ball. Cut enough lace ribbon to fit around the bubble. Hot glue the lace on the back edge. Hot glue the finished piece on the fabric background.
Clean the outsides of the tea cups with rubbing alcohol. Use Waterfront and a sponge pouncer to paint some of the existing circles on the tea cups. Let air dry for four days to cure. To make dishwasher safe, place in a non-preheated oven and bake at 325 for 30 minutes. Cool with the oven door open.
Paint the bird in Waterfront. For the dotted outline, use a liner brush and Black Tie.
Transfer "Honey" text to the label. Paint with Lemon Zest using a detail brush. Attach it to a small glass jar for honey.
