Light up the night with a whimsical sleeping companion made from a bottle and DecoArt Media® Fluid Acrylics

SUPPLIES

• craft glue
• cosmetic sponge
• set of clear lights with white wire
• clear glass bottle with cork
• wire
• embellishments of choice
• scrapbook papers
• small brush
• medium brush
• bezel

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Use a medium brush to paint the face in a mix of white and teal. Add details with a small brush in Primary Magenta, a mix of white and magenta, and Carbon Black.

2. Use craft glue to adhere the face to the bezel and to add embellishments (for bangs) and coiled wire for hair.

3. Cut scrapbook paper to fit the bottle and adhere to the bottle with a medium brush and Matte Medium. Print out the words "Sweet Dreams Potion" in a font of your choice and adhere to the scrapbook paper using a medium brush and Matte Medium. Use a cosmetic sponge to stencil "No 152" in Ultramarine Blue.

4. Use a medium brush to paint the perimeter of the scrapbook paper in Cobalt Teal Hue and Ultramarine Blue, blending inward with a cosmetic sponge. Use craft glue to add more embellishments.

5. Use craft glue to adhere the head to the cork. Bend the wire and coil for the arms and legs; adhere with craft glue. Optional: Add twinkle lights to use as a nightlight.
