Sweet Dreams Nightlight

This clever nightlight is made with a glass block, Christmas lights, and Americana® Gloss Enamels.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- rubbing alcohol
- scissors
- #3 round brush
- Contac® paper
- Sharpie® marker
- cosmetic sponge
- square glass block
- foam paint roller
- white Christmas lights
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Trace the patterns onto Contac® paper with a marker.
- Use scissors to cut out the patterns.
- Clean the glass block with rubbing alcohol and paper towels. Let dry completely.
- Place the Contac® paper cutouts onto the glass block. Press down firmly, making sure there are no air bubbles or raised areas.
- On a plate or palette, pour True Blue and Calypso Blue and roll the foam roller around in them. Roll the roller onto the glass block front.
- Remove the Contac® paper cutouts.
- Use a cosmetic sponge dipped in White to dab in the clouds, stars, and moon.
- Dip another sponge in Bright Yellow and dab over the moon.
- Use a #3 round dipped brush in Black to paint the words “Sweet Dreams.”
- Add Christmas lights to inside of the glass block.
