    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Measure off 3 inch stripes on the front of the picture frame.
    2. Fill in the stripes alternating with Coral Shell and Burlap using the 1" flat brush. Let the stripes wrap around the sides of the frame.
    3. Use the #2 round brush to paint a 1/4" frame around the photo window with Black Plum. Paint the edge inside the window.
    4. Choose papers to make the different parts of the sun face and rays.
    5. Using tracing paper and transfer paper, trace the big over all shape of the sun with rays. I did this on a plum colored paper that matched the Black Plum paint.
    6. Decoupage this piece down on the top right edge of the frame using Matte Decou-page and the 1" flat brush.
    7. Transfer all of the other parts of the sun face and rays on various scrapbook papers.
    8. Cut out the big circle that is the sun face and decoupage it down with the Matte Decou-page and the 1" flat brush.
    9. Cut out the rays and decoupage them down with the 1/2" flat brush and Matte Decou-page. Leave a border around the sun face.
    10. Cut out all of the face parts and lay them out for placement.
    11. Decoupage down all of the face parts using the #2 round brush and Matte Decou-page.
    12. Be sure to apply the whites of the eyes, then the pupil, then the eye lids and then the eyelashes. When doing the lips and cheeks, apply the line of mouth, then the dark pink lips and cheeks, and then the lighter pink lips.
    13. Add the photo and enjoy.
