Sign for A Summer Wedding

A simple, yet eye-catching, sign welcomes and leads guests to your summer wedding.
SUPPLIES
- painter's or masking tape
- 1" sponge brush
- liquid glue
- small fine tip detailing
- 5" terra cotta pot
- three craft basswood pieces (1/16" x 4" x 9"; 1/8" x 2" x 6"; and 1/8" x 2" x 3-1/2")
- two craft balsa wood pieces (1/8" x 1" x 17-1/2" and 1/8" x 1" x 9")
- 4" x 2" foam disc floral arranger
- decorative moss
INSTRUCTIONS
- Apply two coats of Cloud White with the 1" sponge brush to each of the two balsa wood pieces. Set aside.
- With painter's or masking tape, tape a 3/8" border around the outside of the large basswood piece and a 1/4" border around the other two basswood pieces. Paint the remaining areas of all the pieces Wrought Iron Black. Apply additional coat if necessary and allow to dry.
- Paint the terra cotta pot Wrought Iron Black with the sponge brush. Set aside to dry.
- Remove the tape from the large basswood sign piece and paint the exposed wood Marigold. Use additional coats as desired.
- Remove the tape from the two small basswood sign pieces and paint the exposed wood Sunshine Yellow. Use additional coats as desired.
- Paint "Welcome", "Ceremony", arrow, and initials of the bridal couple on the signs using Cloud White.
- Glue the signs to Cloud White stakes using liquid glue. Place a floral arranger disc into the pot and cover with moss. Push the signs into the floral arranger disc.
