    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Use a pencil to trace the wooden plaque onto the back of black cardstock. Trace a 1" smaller version of the plaque onto fuchsia cardstock.
    2. Cut out the plaque from the black cardstock with regular scissors and the fuchsia with paper edger scissors.
    3. Use a #12 flat brush to apply Americana Matte Decou-Page to the front of the plaque. Wet the black cardstock in the sink and lightly place it over the plaque, pressing down from the center first. Use a brush to flatten the cardstock down evenly onto the plaque, adding more Decou-Page on top.
    4. Repeat step 3 with the fuchsia cardstock, centering it on the plaque with a 1" border of black showing.
    5. Use a pencil and the tracing and transfer papers to trace and transfer the skull pattern onto the cream cardstock. Cut out with regular scissors and attach to the plaque, using technique from step 3 above.
    6. Trace and transfer the words in the computer font and the Halloween images of your choice onto black cardstock.
    7. Use a #12 flat brush to paint Silver over the black cardstock. Use a #3 round brush dipped in Lime Green to make swirls and dots around the border and word box and to make flowers around the skull eyes.
    8. Use a #3 round brush dipped in Lamp Black to outline all words, swirls, and shapes, except the word boxes.
    9. Use the same brush dipped in Silver for the top flower, skeleton's eyes and teeth, and polka dots.
    10. Use the same brush dipped in Fuchsia for "If you Dare", around the teeth, and for diamonds on the skull.
    11. Use the same brush dipped in Orange for the skull's flower and nose and to make dots around "Costume required".
    12. For details on the skull and tiny words, use an ultra fine point black marker. Also add the party date and time and "R.S.V.P" to the bottom of the plaque with the marker.
