Stylin' Koi Fish Graffiti Skateboard

Transform the underside of a skateboard with imagination and DecoArt® Stylin™.

SUPPLIES

    • water container
    • palette or plastic plate
    • paper towels
    • scissors
    • pencil
    • black permanent pen
    • screwdriver
    • paintbrushes
    • skateboard

    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

    Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Use a screwdriver to remove the wheels from the skateboard. Paint the entire underside in Aqua. Using the pattern provided, cut the image out with scissors and trace it.
    2. Instruction #1
    3. Mix Purple with a bit of White to make a lavender; use the mix to paint the "S" and "L". Paint the "Y"; the nose of the fish; and around the eyes in Yellow. Blend Yellow into Orange on the head of the fish and paint the "T" in this blended peach like color. Blend Red with Orange and paint the middle part of the tail and the "L". Paint the rest of the tail in Red and blend it toward the middle. Paint the "N" Red. Paint the center of the eyes in Aqua. Paint every fin on the fish in White.

    5. Using a fine liner brush with Black or a black fine permanent pen/marker and the pattern provided, trace each image and fill in the line work.

    7. Re-attach the skateboard wheels.
