Striped Painted Pumpkin

Paint a real or artificial pumpkin with stripes in trendy colors to add a bold statement to your Halloween décor.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- tracing paper
- transfer paper
- #3 round brush
- artificial or real pumpkin
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Trace the face pattern onto the front of the pumpkin and the zigzag design around the top.
- Carve out the face (and cut out a lid if you are using a real pumpkin).
- Using a 3/4" flat brush, paint Heritage stripes on alternating sections of pumpkin.
- Paint remaining sections with Relic.
- Using a #3 round brush, paint dots on the outer corners of the eyes with Everlasting. Use Carbon for the dots by the mouth.
- Using Carbon, paint the zigzag pattern on the top of pumpkin.
- Paint dots at each zigzag point, alternating between Carbon and Everlasting.
