Stenciled Stripes and Camera Clipboard

Shutterbugs will love this clipboard covered with images of cameras.
SUPPLIES
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- scissors
- 3/4" flat brush
- #6 flat brush
- 1 piece of scrapbook paper
- mini clipboard
- cosmetic sponges
- stamp of choice
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Using scrapbook paper of choice with cameras on it, cut out the main image.
- Use a 3/4" flat brush and Coral Blush to basecoat the entire clipboard. Rinse brush. Let dry completely.
- Place the Americana Classic Lines Stencil over the clipboard and hold in place. Load a clean cosmetic sponge with Snow White and pounce over the stencil. Let dry completely.
- Use a 3/4" flat brush and Americana Matte Decou-Page to apply to the surface, place down the scrapbook image, and brush more Decou-Page on top to seal. Rinse brush.
- Using a new cosmetic sponge and Slate Grey, add paint to a stamp of your choice. Stamp the image on the clipboard.
- Repeat the stamp, this time using Zinc and a clean cosmetic sponge.
- Repeat the stamp, this time with Lamp Black and a clean cosmetic sponge.
- Print out or cut out from printed material a paper word.
- Use a #6 flat brush and Desert Turquoise to paint over the word. Rinse brush. Let dry completely.
- Use a 3/4" flat brush to coat Decou-Page on the clipboard surface and adhere the word, smoothing out any air bubbles or wrinkles.
- Use more Decou-Page on top of the word to seal. Rinse brush.
