Etch and stencil a simple vase into an accent that looks worthy of a decorator's touch.

SUPPLIES

• palette or plastic plate
• paper towels
• rubbing alcohol
• painter's tape
• rubber gloves
• glass vase
• palette knife
• tape

INSTRUCTIONS

NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

1. Clean off the glass vase with rubbing alcohol and paper towels.
2. Position and attach the Americana Reusable Stick-On Stencil on the desired area on the vase (shown: Asteroid).
3. With painter's tape, tape off the areas that will not be etched.
4. While wearing rubber gloves, apply a heavy coat of Easy Etch Etching Cream over the stencil with a palette knife and let sit for 15 minutes.
5. Still wearing the rubber gloves, remove and return the Easy Etch to its original container for re-use.
6. With rubber gloves on hands, rinse the vase with water to remove excess Easy Etch.
7. Remove the stencil and tape and rinse again.
