    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

Let dry completely between painting steps.

    1. Cut out the provided pattern; place it on the bag where desired, and trace the cut-outs with Beige. Fill in the entire octopus with Beige.
    2. Instruction #1
    3. Paint the entire octopus in Aqua. Mix equal parts of Yellow and Beige, with a touch of Chestnut to make a gold color. Use this mix to paint the clock, gears, and top hat. Save this mix for Step 3.
    4. Instruction #2
    5. Add shading, an eye, and suckers to the octopus in Turquoise. (To create the suckers, paint a small oval shape with a circle around it and some loose shading in the area around the sucker.) Also outline the arms in Turquoise. Add a touch more Chestnut to the saved mix from Step 2; use new mix to add shading to the gears, clock, and hat.
    6. Instruction #3
    7. Use Chestnut as is to add more shading to the clock, hat, and gears.
    8. Instruction #4
    9. Mix Chestnut with Black to add the final shading touches to the gears, hat, and clock. Also paint the Roman numerals and hands of the clock. (You may choose to omit the gears from the original pattern or include them here.) Use Blue to add the final shading and touches to the octopus, deepening the shade where the arms meet and around the suckers in areas. Let dry completely. Touch up any areas as needed.
    10. Instruction #5
