Turn a giant wood spool into a create art station using Americana Acrylics.

SUPPLIES

• E6000 Glue
• paint brushes
• lazy susan

INSTRUCTIONS

1. If needed lightly sand spool and use a large brush to apply a coat of Wood Reclaim to smooth out the surface. Let Dry. Use a large brush to apply a coat of White paint to top and bottom (leave middle unpainted).

2. Use a medium brush to base coat lazy suzan in White (for top of spool). Let dry. Use a pencil to draw a line across the middle. Use a medium brush to paint one side of the lazy suzan in Yellow, Green and Blue.

3. Continue painting the other side in Orange, Red and Purple. Let dry. Apply DuraClear Satin Varnish to both the lazy susan and the spool. Let dry. Use E6000 to adhere a lazy susan to the bottom of the spool and adhere the "color wheel" lazy susan to the top of the spool.
