scrapbook paper (1 piece: torn into 1" or smaller squares)
yarn (baby blue)
mask (styrofoam or paper mache)
decorative ribbon (baby blue )
paintbrushes (including a small round)
greening pins
INSTRUCTIONS
Basecoat the Styrofoam mask in Warm Beige. Lightly paint Grey Sky around the eyes and in the contour of the cheeks. Paint the inner eyes Lamp Black.
Using a small round paintbrush, paint on the eyebrows and lip line.
Add eyelashes and stitches with Lamp Black. Paint a triangle on the tip of the nose, round circles for the cheeks, and kewpie doll lips in Peony Pink.
Use Matte Decou-Page to adhere 1" squares of scrapbook paper to the mask: Paint a thin layer of Decou-Page to the back of the paper and on the space where the paper will go on the mask. Place the paper square on the mask. Paint a thin top layer of Decou-Page over the scrapbook paper.
To create the pigtails, cut 24"-pieces of yarn, four bundles of 12. Tie each bundle in the middle with a piece of yarn. Hot glue the center of one bundle above each ear. Hot glue the center of the other two bundles on the part on the top of her head.
Tie up the bundles into pigtails with blue ribbon. Display in a frame.
