    INSTRUCTIONS

    NOTES:

The size of wood will depend on the house numbers you use. The numbers used for this project were roughly 3.5" x 5", so it was necessary to cut the wood to size. I found that a stair tread was the perfect height, so I just needed to cut the length to 8" x 15".

    1. Choose the appropriate house numbers. Find a piece of wood to fit the numbers. (If necessary, you might have to cut the wood.) Sand all the rough edges until smooth.
    2. Instruction #1
    3. Paint the wood Lamp Black. Let dry. Use tracing and transfer paper to transfer the attached template, or create your own spider web design and sketch it onto the wood in pencil.
    4. Instruction #2
    5. Paint the web with Snow White. (Use two coats for the best coverage.) Let dry completely, then paint Glow in the Dark over the web, using two coats. (If you can't tell where you painted the Glow paint, go into a dark room and you will be able to see... the painted areas GLOW!)
    6. Instruction #3
    7. Paint the house numbers Chartreuse Yellow, using two coats for best coverage. Let dry. Once dry, apply two coats of the Glow in the Dark paint.
    8. Instruction #4
    9. Once everything is dry, place the numbers on the wood and mark a dot where you will drill the holes.
    10. Instruction #5
    11. Attach the numbers to the wood.
    12. Instruction #6
