SUPPLIES
Americana® Gloss Enamels™
- Calypso Blue (DAG234)
- Citron Green (DAG235)
- Lavender (DAG34)
- White (DAG01)
Other supplies
- water container
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- rubbing alcohol
- scissors
- #2 round brush
- hair dryer (optional)
- round glass ornaments
- matching ribbon
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: Let dry completely between painting steps.
- Remove ornament cap. Clean outside of ornament with rubbing alcohol and paper towels. Let dry completely.
- Pour Lavender on plate. Add a small amount of water to thin and stir well.
- Hold Ornament over a trash can or an area that is covered. Tap brush against fingers splattering randomly onto ornament. Rinse brush.
- Repeat spattering process with White followed by Calypso Blue then Citron Green.
- Use scissors to cut ribbon of choice. Then tie and let dry.
HELPFUL HINTS
Optional: to help the colors not run together, I used the hair dryer to set the paint between each color application.
