Bright South American Terra Cotta Pot

Take a trip to the Southern Hemisphere with this Patio Paint Outdoor-colorful terra cotta pot.
SUPPLIES
- palette or plastic plate
- paper towels
- tracing paper
- transfer paper
- #6 flat brush
- #0 liner brush
- 1" sponge brush
- 8" standard terra cotta pot
- stylus or toothpick
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
Allow to dry between painting steps.
- Trace and transfer the design onto the terra cotta pot.
- Use a #6 flat brush to paint the sun face and rays Marigold; the large petals, Holly Berry Red; the small petals, Tiger Lily Orange; and the background and rim band, Blue Bahama.
- Use a #0 liner brush and Wrought Iron Black to outline the petals and the background shape. Also paint the eyes, nose, and mouth on the sun.
- Use a stylus or toothpick to add dots of Cloud White to the Wrought Iron Black lines.
- Use a #0 liner brush and Mistletoe Green to paint three strokes between the petal ends.
- Use a sponge brush to coat entire pot, inside and out, with Clear Coat.
